This itinerary is for people looking out to experience some of the most exciting and productive wildlife destinations in Rajasthan. You will be staying at some of the most luxurious wildlife resorts set up at exquisite locations. This is very suitable for a family trip or a group of friends looking out to experience wildlife of Rajasthan in details!
Day 1 – 2: Jaipur
We will pick you up from the airport/railway station and check–in at the hotel. You will have plenty of time here to explore the history rich city of Jaipur. No other activities are planned from our side.

Day 3 – 5: Bharatpur
Drive to the town of Bharatpur. Accommodation will be in a comfortable guest house. Half day visit to the Bharatpur fort. A full day visit to the Bharatpur bird sanctuary (also known as Keoladeo National Park) is planned. This sanctuary is also aptly declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your eyes will have thousands of migratory and resident bird species to feast on. You can hire your own bicycle, rickshaw or horse cart to explore the park.On the last day we will visit the national Chambal sanctuary to do the boat cruise which is very rewarding with the sightings of gavials, mugger crocs, and Gangetic dolphin.

Day 6 – 8: Sariska tiger reserve
Drive to Sariska National Park. Accommodation will be in a luxury wildlife resort set up right in the midst of the wilderness. We will do 3 wildlife safaris in open jeeps to explore the rich animal and birdlife of Sariska. Alwar city is just 60 km from Sariska and exploring the Alwar for is also an option.

Day 9 – 10: Tal Chappar
Drive to the Tal Chappar grassland. Accommodation will be in the forest rest house situated inside the sanctuary. The accommodation here is basic but the setting of the rest house is pristine. We will explore Tal Chappar on walking safaris led by experienced guides. One can expect lots of antelopes and birdlife rarely found anywhere else.

Day 11 – 13: Jaisalmer
Drive to the city of Jaisalmer. Accommodation will be in a luxurious tented resort set in the desert. First day will be spent exploring the history, forts and palaces that Jaisalmer has to offer. Next 2 days we will do two desert safaris either using camel carts or open jeeps. Desert National Park gives you a unique perspective of the wildlife in the desert. It is famous for rare mammals like the desert fox, desert cat, chinkara antelope and birds like the highly endangered Great Indian and Macqueens Bustard.

Day 14 – 15: Khumbalgarh
Drive to Khumbalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary. Accommodation will be in a luxury wildlife resort. We will do 3 wildlife safaris in the 580 sq. Km park in an open jeep. This sanctuary has a very interesting habitat supporting shy animals like the four horned antelope, Wolf, leopards, sloth bear, hyena, jackal, jungle cat, sambhar and nilgai can also be found here on the safaris. Khumbalgarh also has a huge 15th sanctuary fort built on a hilltop 1100m high and is a good option to explore.

Day 16 – 17: Bera
Drive to the little hamlet of Bera. Accommodation will be in a luxury wildlife resort owned and managed by the royal family of the area. We will do 2 leopard safaris in open jeep here guided by experienced local guides. Bera has a good population of leopards which have been actively protected by the royal family.

Day 18 – 19: Chittorgarh
Drive to the city of Chittorgarh. Accommodation will be in a luxurious heritage hotel. Chittorgarh fort is the largest fort in India and grandest in the state of Rajasthan. The fort, plainly known as chittor, was the capital of Mewar.It sprawls majestically over a hill of 180 M in height and spread over an area of 280 ha above the plain of the valley drained by the Berach river. There will be a full day visit to the fort.

Day 20 – 23: Ranthambore
Drive to the town of Sawai Madhopur (the base town to explore Ranthambore). Accommodation will be in a luxurious wildlife resort. In the first 2 days we will do 4 safaris in open jeeps exploring different areas of Ranthambore. This park arguably has highest tiger density in India and is certainly one of the best places to see them. On the last 2 days we will visit an area hardly visited by any tourist. It has a lot of stripped hyena dens and gives us a very good chance to get close to them.

Activity - 4 Jungle safaris, 1 full day Safaris in buffer zone
Day 24 – 25: Jaipur
Drive to the city of Jaipur. Accommodation will be in a luxurious hotel. We will have the last trip meeting here. The trip ends on the 25th day after the breakfast.
