Day 1 - 2: Delhi
You will be picked up from the Delhi Airport/railway station. Accommodation will be in a comfortable hotel. A short trip meeting at 18:00 hrs. City tour for visiting forts, palaces and ancient monuments. Red fort, Qutub Minar, Akshardham theme temple, Rashtrapati Bhawan. Connaught Place for shopping.

Day 3 – 5: The ‘Pink city’ of Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur. Accommodation will be in a comfortable hotel. It probably is the most history rich city of India. While we stay here we will visit the Hawa Mahal, Nahargarh fort and Amer fort. Visit to a traditional village restaurant called Chauki Dhani for authentic Rajasthani meals. Street shopping excursion in the Bazaars.

Day 6 – 8: Town of Pushkar
Drive to the town of Pushkar. Accommodation will be in a comfortable hotel. It is a town set on the Pushkar Lake bordering the Thar desert. The town literally has hundreds of temples. We will be visiting some of the major ones like the Brahma Mandir dedicated to the creator god Brahma.

Day 9 – 11: The Rajputana kingdom of Udaipur
Drive to the small city of Udaipur. Accommodation will be in a city hotel. It is a city set around a series of artificial lakes and is well known for its lavish palaces. We will do full day tours on both the days here seeing places like the city palace, lake pichola, monsoon palace, lake palace, Gulab bagh and a few other spots.

Day 12 – 13: The ‘Sun city/Blue city of Jodhpur’
Drive to city of Jodhpur. Accommodation will be in a comfortable hostel. The city is best known for the Mehrangarh fort built in the 15th century. It is now a museum showcasing weapons, paintings and royal palanquins. On our second day here we will visit Mehrangarh fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace and we will also have some leisure time for a shopping excursion in the local bazaars.

Day 14 – 16: The ‘Golden city’ of Jaisalmer
Drive to the city of Jaisalmer. Accommodation will be in a comfortable hotel right next to the Jaisalmer fort. It is a one of its kind fort in the sense that it is one of the only living forts. It is quite amazing to see people still living there. Although they are not kings and queens of old times but just common people of Jaisalmer. A casual stroll in its alleys brings you close to some amazing musicians and artists.

Activity - On day 2 here we will go for a full day camel safari in the dunes of the Thar desert.
On day 3 we will drive to one of the dune camps in Jaisalmer. These are quite unique camps. In the evenings we will get to experience the Rajasthani folk dance and music.
Day 17 – 19 : Delhi
After finishing up in Jaisalmer, on the 17th day we will fly back to New Delhi. We have an overnight stay here. The next day our tour leader drops you at the Airport where the trip ends.
